    A little general advice:
    Make a short headline and then have additional information in the main text field of the post.
    I would have liked to know the size of the print.

    Make sure that photos are in the correct orientation.

    I think this is a non-authorised reproduction of little value.
    You write that it is signed, which usually means signed by hand, but this is plate signed according to the sticker on the back: the signature is part of the print.

    The original was made by Charles Sorlier after Chagall as a poster for the Metropolitan Opera for “Die Zauberflöte” (The Magic Flute) by Mozart.

    The sheet measures 100 x 66 cm (40 x 26 “).
    Edition as poster: 3000 + 100 copies numbered and signed by Chagall.

    As a lithograph without the text it was issued in 200 numbered and signed copies.

    I am attaching a photo with information from the book “Chagall’s posters – catalogue raisonné”.


  2. Follow-up: Probably the same as yours sold for 60 $ including premium on this auction:

    The description was a large “print”, not a lithograph.
